Terms of Services & Cancellations Policy
Last updated: November 2025
1. Payment and Booking
Sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking in order to secure your place.
Please ensure you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions before proceeding with your booking.
2. Rescheduling
You may request to reschedule your session without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Rescheduling requests should be submitted in writing (email) and must be agreed by both parties.
3. Cancellations and Refunds of Studio Sessions & Workshops
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to your scheduled session: full refund.
Cancellation between 48 hours and 7 days prior: 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior: no refund.
For refund policies pertaining to Digital Products please see the Returns page.
If you cannot attend the session you have booked, you are welcome to send someone in your place, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and you notify us in advance.
4. Advisory Nature of Service
The Studio Sessions provide expert architectural and interior design guidance only. Implementation of any advice, design direction or recommendations remains the responsibility of the homeowner.
While I will provide high-quality input and strategy, the final decisions, further design development, and execution are your responsibility.
Compliance with statutory regulations and law is the sole responsibility of the homeowner.
5. Suitability of the Service
The Studio Sessions are designed for strategic guidance and decision-making support. They are not intended for projects requiring:
full-time design input or continuous oversight
detailed technical coordination (for example structural engineering, large scale construction management, full working drawings)
If your project falls into those categories, a full architectural or interior design service is likely a better fit.
6. Preparation & Materials
You may be asked to bring to the session: photos, floor-plans (if available), sketches or estate-agent plans, inspiration images, and key questions you want to address.
While full architectural drawings are not required, a basic sketch or floor-plan along with photos or a video will help maximise the value of your session.
7. Location (for In-Person Intensive)
The 6-hour Intensive session is delivered in person in Central London. Venue details will be confirmed nearer the time. Should either party need to relocate or adjust the venue, notice will be given in advance.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in delivering services due to events beyond reasonable control (force majeure) including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, or other similar events.
In such cases, we will agree a new mutually acceptable date for the session, or if impossible, issue a refund at our discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during or as part of The Studio Sessions (presentations, guidance, mood-boards, reference materials) remain the intellectual property of Spaces Refined. You may use any suggestions or advice in your project, but you may not reproduce, share or sell the original materials without permission.
10. Data & Privacy
Any personal data you provide during the booking process or session will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may at times use anonymised feedback or testimonials from completed sessions for marketing purposes - your explicit consent will always be requested.
11. Changes to Terms
Spaces Refined reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any material changes and given the opportunity to accept or decline new terms prior to booking a future session.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law and any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
